The Qualifier
The Qualifier answers the question that matters most: is this company or person actually worth your time? It checks them against your qualification rules, one by one, and gives you a clear verdict.
The verdict you get
For every company or contact, the Qualifier returns one of these answers:
- Qualified: they match what you're looking for.
- Disqualified: they don't.
- Insufficient data: there isn't enough info yet to tell.
- Disqualified (company): for people only. Their company didn't qualify, so they're set aside, but kept, in case the company qualifies later.
Each verdict comes with the reasoning behind it, so you understand why, not just what. That includes the times the Qualifier stops early, before it scores anyone against a persona: you still get a verdict and a plain reason.
It's honest, not optimistic
The Qualifier works from real evidence. When it genuinely can't tell, it says Insufficient data rather than guessing, so a Qualified verdict actually means something.
It's also efficient: if one of your must-have rules fails, it stops right there and marks them Disqualified. No point checking the rest. And when a company doesn't qualify, its people aren't scored one by one: each of them gets Disqualified (company), with the company's reasoning.
Where to see verdicts

- On the contact or company page, with full reasoning.
- As colors and badges on your Pipeline, so you can spot your best opportunities at a glance.
How to start it
You decide when to run a qualification check. The quickest way is to ask your main AI Agent ("does this person qualify?"), or move a record to "To Qualify". See Starting AI work for every way to trigger it, and How Qualification Works for how the verdict is decided.
What it needs first
Before the Qualifier can judge anyone, you need:
- An active ICP (your Ideal Customer Profile) with at least one active persona, and
- A saved company or contact to check. A person doesn't need to be linked to a company first: if they aren't, the Qualifier looks up where they work on LinkedIn and checks that company. If it can't find one, you get Insufficient data and the reason.
Once those are in place, qualification checks run smoothly. The one exception is a person whose company matches an ICP you've paused: the Qualifier leaves them alone until you resume it. See Pausing an ICP.
